Osservazioni WTO
Il crescente disavanzo della bilancia commerciale per i prodotti agricoli ed i processi d'espansione internazionale dei maggiori gruppi agro-industriali messicani potrebbe, nel breve-medio periodo, determinare le condizioni per una politica di maggiore apertura del mercato domestico e di progressiva riduzione delle tariffe doganali a difesa delle produzioni nazionali. La recente crisi della produzione avicola nazionale ha generato l'eliminazione temporanea delle specifiche tariffe doganali.
