To celebrate the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri's death and on the occasion of the Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, the Hong Kong Dante Alighieri Society invites you to join an inspiring cooking class with Michelin Star Chef Andrea Spagoni and actor Saulo Lucci, live-streaming from Italy. Andrea and Saulo will guide you on an exciting journey to discover more about "il Sommo Poeta" and his timeless masterpiece The Divine Comedy. Chef Andrea Spagoni will prepare three dishes, each inspired by one of the three cantos of the Comedy: Hell, Purgatory, Paradise. All those dishes and their ingredients were already so well known and appreciated in Dante's time to be still part of today's Italian Cuisine, and you will have the chance to taste them in a modern and refined interpretation by an Italian contemporary starred Chef. To complete the experience, Saulo Lucci, Italian actor specialised in Dante's works, will entertain you by introducing dishes and recipes in a theatrical and interactive way, telling their stories and anecdotes, and their deep connections with Dante Alighieri's life and works.

The event is part of the official program of the third edition of Italia Mia Festival, that brings the best of Italian lifestyle, cinema, art, food and music to Hong Kong and Macao in October and November.
