The Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem and Pearl Show, which is held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, specialises in jewellery raw materials including loose diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones and pearls. Together with the concurrent Hong Kong International Jewellery Show, which focuses on finished jewellery, the event forms the world's largest jewellery marketplace.

The Italian Trade Commission organizes a group participation of Italian companies in the Fair.
