Dar Es Salaam To Host Tanzania International Forum For Investments on 12-14 July 2016

The Tanzania International Forum For Investments (TIFI 2016) will take place at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre in Dar es Salaam, on 12-14 July 2016.

TIFI 2016 will showcase specific investment opportunities in key sectors of  the Tanzanian economy, including Agriculture & Agro-processing, Tourism, Energy, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, telecommunications & ICT, Mining, and Financial services. Endorsed by the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC),

TIFI 2016 will be anchored on the following thematic areas: Infrastructure Development (Roads, Rail, Ports, Airports) Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Agro-Processing and Manufacturing Energy and Power including Renewable energy Mining Social Infrastructure (Education, Health, Social Services) Oil & Gas Manufacturing Real Estate Telecommunications Tourism ICT Financial Services Broadcasting Human capital development Public-private partnerships Promotion of small and medium enterprises Sustainable development TIFI 2016 will see the participation of investors and decision makers, comprising local and foreign companies, heads of public institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.

The forum will enjoy the presence of is his Excellency Dr. John Pombe Magufuli, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. Speakers will include Dr Reginald Mengi, Chairman of Tanzania Private Sector Foundation and owner of the IPP Media Group, Godfrey Simbeye, Executive Director of Tanzania Private Sector Foundation (TPSF), Dr Fred Matola Msemwa, Chief Executive Officer of the Watumishi Housing Company (WHC).
